# Tokenomics

**AKIMME** Metaverse has been funded entirely by its founder and has not received any external funding from venture capitalists, initial coin offerings (ICOs), initial DEX offerings (IDOs), or any other form of funding. Given the lack of external funding, the decision has been made to utilize Ethereum as the primary token for the metaverse.

However, should **AKIMME** decide to introduce a native token for the metaverse in the future, the tokenomics will be shared with the community. This will ensure transparency & the community will be kept informed of any updates or developments related to the introduction of a native token.
